Safe, smooth and professional tree felling in the entire Helsinki Metropolitan Area and surrounding areas - we serve private customers, housing companies and businesses. We handle even the most demanding jobs quickly all year round, for example, tree felling next to power lines and storm damage. All our operations are insured.
Logging always starts with a careful survey of the site, on the basis of which we prepare a quotation and a plan.
To make the process smoother, we recommend marking the trees to be felled in advance with paint, string or tape, for example. This allows us to assess the site without you having to be there, which speeds up the quotation process.
Alternatively, you can also send to send us photos of the trees to be felled and their location. If necessary, we will carry out a further assessment on site.
When planning tree felling, we pay particular attention to the biggest obstacles, such as buildings and power lines, as well as the inclination of the tree and the best direction for safety and further work.
We carry out storm damage clearance for individuals, businesses and municipalities. We carry out storm damage clearance as forestry work, without machinery. Our trained foresters can remove trees from power lines and other difficult places.
Frequently asked questions:
-
Safety is the most common reason for felling trees. A sudden tree fall can cause major damage to property or endanger lives. Large trees should be inspected regularly, especially for decay, so that they can be felled in a controlled manner if necessary.
-
The price depends on the number and size of trees to be felled, the space available in the yard for felling and whether the contract includes chopping and cleaning up the yard.

The need for a permit depends on the municipality and the area, especially in urban areas. The contractor must find out what permits are required for tree felling. For example, in Espoo, Helsinki and Kauniainen, permits may be more difficult to obtain than in the surrounding municipalities. In a zoning area, a permit from the municipality's building control department is usually required for felling yard trees. A notification is often sufficient for felling a couple of trees, but felling several or valuable trees requires a landscape permit and possibly the consent of a neighbour or housing association.
